Wearable communications and personal health management are future trends the healthcare procedures are nowadays going. To make this happen, new technology is needed to provide trustworthy communications mechanisms from the user to medical health databases. Wireless body area networks (WBAN) are one element in this process. Not only on-body devices, but also technologies providing information from in-body are in focus of BODYNETS 2018. Dependable communications combined with accurate localization and behavior analysis will benefit WBAN technology and make the healthcare processes more effective.
The technical program will consist of five Main Tracks:
- Wearable Computing
- Embedded Devices and Medical Applications
- In- and On-Body Communications and Networking
- Systems and Applications
- Antennas and Propagation
All accepted and presented papers will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
BODYNETS proceedings are indexed in leading indexing services, including EI Elsevier Engineering Index, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).
Authors of selected best accepted and presented papers will be invited to submit an extended version to BODYNETS 2018 Special Issue of (to be confirmed):
- IEEE Access
- International Journal on Wireless Information Networks
- EAI Endorsed Transactions on Pervasive Health and Technology
